YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim has outlined his vision and administrative framework through his book “Membangun Negara MADANI”. Following the formation of the Unity Government, Malaysia Madani has been elevated as a new national philosophy for Malaysia. Malaysia Madani is grounded in the philosophy of Madani Society in the Islamic tradition, and its implementation is guided by the framework and principles contained in the book “Membangun Negara MADANI.”

The social engineering process towards reform will only be successful when the people have a clear understanding of the concept of Malaysia Madani. The process of change will occur with the existence of public policies and mass support to realize the vision and principles of MADANI. Furthermore, the concept of Malaysia Madani must be able to influence cultural and ideological changes in public administration, the private sector, civil society, and various segments of society.
